The Theoretical Physics Division of the Physics Department of University of Ioannina consists of 14 staff members and two scientific secretaries. There are two post doc researchers and five PhD students.

The current research activities include Theoretical High Energy Physics and Cosmology, Theoretical Nuclear Physics and Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics and Plasma Physics.

Theory division staff members participate in the Physics Department courses.

Members of the division participate to greek and european research programs.
